Baştan sona izlediğim tek eurovision olarak, bence müzikal anlamda güzel şeylerin yapıldığı bir yarışma oldu. 6 veya 8 ülkeden 12 tam puan alan kızımız Hadise, berbat haldeydi. Sesi gitmişti. Zaten zayıf olan kareografilere, teknik aksaklıklar yüzünden sıçıldı! Kostümler çok kötüydü. Neden kırmızı, zaten ışıklar kırmızydı. Erkeklere de bok yeşili giydirmişler. Arkadaki o yeşil gömleklinin işi neydi? Birkaç kişi gezindiler arkdada. Ne yaptıklarını bilmiyor gibiydiler, buna rağmen sonuç sevindirici.. Hele ah, o İngiltere! Senin efsane grupların olsun, nefis müzisyenlerin olsun bkz:sayamam bile, sen koca ağızılı bir zenci/acemi kız çıkar oraya! (ırkçılık yapmıyorum yanlış anlaşılmasın)
Benim kişsiel favorim, ünlü pin-up kızı, Manson'ın ex'i Dita Von Teese'i sahneye dansa çıkaran Almanyaydı. Sırf Dita çıktı diye değil, müzikal açıdan baya iyiydi bence, çok güzel, enerji dolu bir şarkıydı Miss Kiss Kiss Bang. Biraz ayrıntıya inersem vokalistin kaşları kabustu ama glam tarzı pantolonu Von Teese'e eşlik edecek durumdaydı. Üstünde koca haflerle Von Teese'in reklamını yapan stand ve şov güzledi. Çok düşük puan aldılar o ayrı! Bence ilk üçü hak ediyorlardı.
I'm in love with a Fairytale diyen Norveçe gelirsek,başarılıydılar bence. Birinciliği hak ettiler. Beste güzeldi, sözler güzeldi. Erovizyon şarkısı gibi değildi denebilir. Çünkü erovizyon şarkıları bir garip olur genelde (bkz:dum tek tek) Şarkının keman solosu ve Alexander Rybak bana Patrick Wolf'u anımsattı. Şarkıcının kemana olan kontrolü, öten kemanlar vs.
Son olarak şunu söylemeliyim ki piskopatlar ülkesi İzlanda'nın barbie bebeği Yohannamı ne çok kötüydü. Hak etmedi. Salak aptal sarışın (bu arada ben de sarışınım, sarışınlar aptal olmaz!)

The album is finished and the title is Slow Attack. As yet unsequenced and un-mixed, it will probably contain up to 12 completely new tracks mainly written by Leo Abrahams and myself. heavily featuring woodwind, it is fuller, stranger and more complex than the last two solo albums and influenced by Leo's command of atmospherics and his classical training. The decision to use woodwind as a primary colour on our palette of sound was inspired by the work of Mark Hollis, an artist whose constant devellopment and distorsion of the pop model we both found fascinating. However, don't expect the record to sound like Talk Talk or anything else for that matter.. We have carved these influences into our own shape and the outcome is a record which to me sounds like nothing i have ever done before. It goes without saying that i am immensely proud of this body of work and extremely excited for the world to hear it.
I anticipate that it will be released in autumn this year but you'll forgive me if at this stage i cannot be more specific. of course live shows will follow the format of which i have yet to decide. one thing is certain though, they will be different from those on the Wilderness tour

John Foxx and Robin Guthrie's marriage of convenience encompasses the best of both their recent works: Foxx's epic, echoey, sepulchral grandstanding and Guthrie's intricate, filmic soundscaping. When Foxx dominates - on the booming title track, the medieval Luminous and the mighty Empire Skyline - he drags Guthrie into windblown open spaces. Yet when Guthrie's studious gentleness asserts itself on Estrellita and Spectroscope, Foxx, too finds himself capable of adapting.' Meanwhile, Mojo enthuses about how pop's 'supreme sound engineers' Foxx and Guthrie, 'fuse the dreamy guitar pop of the Cocteaus with Foxx's choral washes, reminiscent of his Cathedral Oceans albums. Foxx's sonorous vocals [sung in an invented 'Italianese' language, an approach not dissimilar to that of Liz Frazer in the early Cocteaus] dominate the moodier passages, but it's the more conventional pop-orientated moments in Estrellita and the instrumental My Life As An Echo, that have the most musical personality
